Next up, we welcome Boston-based DJ Joe Wilkes (@joewilkesbooth) for his BBB debut! We are very excited to bring his unique take on raw, polyrhythmic club sounds to our dance floor.

I don’t know about everyone else, but I felt a little extra… urgency? electricity? at our last party that I can’t help but attribute to the current state of the world. Maybe connecting politics and the club feels like a stretch. A party is fundamentally an escape after all.

Yes, the dance floor is a site of release, but it is also a sanctuary. We used to use the term “temporary autonomous zone” when we talked about raves, but what we really mean is a place to model a better world, even if it’s fleeting and on the tiniest of scales.

Intentionally meeting in person and taking care of each other is the project right now. Hope to see you on 3/1! ❤️ 🌑

Saturday, February 1st we have the absolute honor of once again hosting two of our favorite guests from last year: @bobdiesel2602 and Timmy Allen!

Both are legends in the Boston dance music scene and beyond. Both are masters at their craft. And both will be playing extended sets at the @cocreativecenter on 2/1 to lift us up once again. 🙌🌑

Saturday January 4th, 2025 we return with our annual Local DJ Showcase at BodyBodyBody!

For our first party of the year, New Moon residents will take a step back and hand the decks over to a roster of talented local selectors. This year’s lineup includes @claudiadeebee, El Razor( @steppingrazorbarbershop), @fraufantastik, @grandisontaber, and @wamptronica!

We expect a wide range of sounds and grooves at this year’s party. No better way to start off your year!
